What is is a neighborhood a community?

A neighborhood can be seen as the physical space or location where people reside, work, and carry out their daily activities. Whereas, a community comprises of individuals who share similar characteristics such as culture, values, beliefs, and interests, and are mutually reliant on each other. A neighborhood can form a community when people residing in the area establish social bonds and interact regularly. Therefore, a neighborhood can be seen as a subset of a community, where people live in close proximity, whereas a community may include people who are scattered across various regional areas. In summary, a neighborhood can become a community when people living within it share common interests, goals, and come together to work towards achieving them.
